Miami Fort Station is a nominal 720-megawatt facility with three coal/steam units located in North Bend, Ohio, approximately 20 miles west of Cincinnati. Duke Energy owns 100 percent of Unit 5 and 64 percent each of Unit 7 & Unit 8 (Dayton Power & Light owns 36 percent of each unit). Miami Fort Station is located in the Reliability First region and dispatched into the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO). Miami Fort’s units are governed by the Ohio/Duke Rate Stabilization Plan.
