Duke Energy has added a new way to pay your energy bill. They're called Pay Agents and they're in your area to provide you greater ease and more convenience at no charge.

What is a Pay Agent?
A Pay Agent is an authorized retailer that accepts Duke Energy payments. Upon receipt of a payment, the cashier enters the billing details into the data terminal and promptly provides a receipt of the transaction. It's that easy and there is no fee for using this service.  Click on the links below for information on all of Duke Energy's authorized Pay Agents.

What is a Non-Authorized Pay Agent?
A  non-authorized Pay Agent (Pay Station) has no integration with Duke Energy and is not paid for by Duke Energy.  Non-authorized Pay Agents generally charge the customer a fee for the payment transaction while authorized Pay Agents do not charge a fee.  Customers need to be aware that it may take up to five days for Duke Energy to receive payments from non-authorized Pay Agents.  Duke Energy recommends customers only use the Duke Energy authorized Pay Agents.

Using a Pay Agent: Three Easy Steps

  1. Choose a convenient Pay Agent.
  2. Bring your bill stub or account number to the cashier with your payment (cash, check or money order).
  3. Take your receipt from the cashier.
