If you are moving from one residence in the Duke Energy service area to another, just complete this form to transfer your account.During the transfer process, we will also review your payment history with us for the past 12 months. Based on this review, it may be necessary to request you re-establish credit by paying an appropriate security deposit or by obtaining an acceptable guarantor.
- If security is required, we will contact you by e-mail and provide additional instructions.
- If security is required, it will need to be satisfied prior to electric service being transferred.
