The Duke Energy Choir

The Duke Energy Choir is comprised of active and retired employees that sing year-round at functions and events within Duke Energy and throughout the Midwest community. Recent performances include singing at the "2007 Community Services Workshop" and singing the National Anthem on "Duke Energy Night at the Cincinnati Reds Game" May, 2008. Past performances include singing at the Annual "Celebrate Life Community Breakfast" sponsored by the Life Center Organ Donor Network; "Black History Month" celebration sponsored by the Westin Hotel and Eye of the Artists Foundation; "Jazzed About Customers" celebration in the Main Lobby to celebrate "National Customer Service Week"; Black Family Reunion Breakfast (7 years); and the Gospel Fest segment of the Queen City Blues Festival at Sawyer Point. Additional past performances include opening at Multiple Cincinnati Reds games; Holiday Jubilee Festival 2000 in downtown Cincinnati; featured group at the Freedom Rally at Paul Brown Stadium in September 2001; NCCJ "Walk as One; and numerous television appearances. The choir typically sings each year in the Lobby directly following the Train opening. They sing from 12:30pm - 12:50pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 2 weeks.
